Music has been the No. 1 legal way Rastafari values have spread from Jamaica to the United States to the rest of the planet Earth. Eloywin Rasta Rayneir is proud to share these videos with you. Owner Talibdin Shakir has been studying Rastafari for over 20 years and produces and records his own reggae music through his own label, signing his own acts but also selling other artists and CDs.
Reggae evolved as the musical heartbeat of Jamaica, Rasta’s first home. In the ’60s pioneering artists such as Bob Marley spread this gentle rhythm to the African-American community, Great Britain, and beyond. Today, reggae is a vital force in popular music as well as, more important, the main means Rasta gets its message across.
Plans for Eloywin Rasta Rayneir include a recording studio to nurture future reggae talent.
